Exeter Northcott to stage Daphne du Maurier's Secret Lives

Exeter Northcott Theatre has revealed they will stage the world premiere of ' Daphne ' by South-West writer, Rosie Race.

The theatre’s new in-house production explores the hidden secrets of one of Britain’s most celebrated authors Daphne du Maurier, best known for her gothic masterpieces such as ‘Rebecca’, ‘Jamaica Inn’ and ‘My Cousin Rachel’.

The national music competition Open Mic UK have announced their singing auditions for Open Mic UK 2015.

The Open Mic UK singing auditions will be hosted at 15 regions across the UK and the competition will be searching to find the UK’s best singers, singer songwriters, rappers and vocal groups.

We’re counting down towards April 23rd, children everywhere are putting on their Iron Man masks and wearing their Hulk gloves. The release of The Avengers: Age of Ultron is a huge event in the movie (and real) world and it is likely to become the highest grossing superhero movie of all time, beating its own previous instalment The Avengers which took a mammoth 1.5 billion at the box office in 2012.

Here in Exeter it will be screened first at the Vue cinema at one minute past midnight on April 23rd, that showing has now started selling tickets and they are already going fast....

East Devon District Council countryside team is offering two opportunities to join them on a reptile ramble on the heathland nature reserves at Fire Beacon Hill and Trinity Hill.
