RHS Garden Rosemoor’s annual Flower Show this year has been re-imagined as a three-day celebration of gardening, plants and outdoor living – the RHS Rosemoor Garden Festival takes place from Friday 21 – Sunday 23 August 2026.

With headline appearances from nationally recognised gardening personalities, gardeners of all skill levels can listen to spotlight talks, get expert gardening advice, watch practical demonstrations, enjoy guided garden tours and browse and buy specialist plants and accessories.

'Unseen' David Bowie exhibition to visit Exeter

A UK exhibition tour of many ‘never before seen’ photographs of David Bowie has been extended to include a visit to Exeter next spring.

After a sell out 2016 tour, Off Beat Lounge, in conjunction with David Bowie’s official photographer, Denis O’Regan have added an extra eight locations to their 2017 UK tour of Mini dealerships, exhibiting forty photographs, many of which have never been seen by the public before, documenting Denis’ time touring the world with David Bowie. Team Oxjam Exeter raised a magnificent £4,372.87 for Oxfam on Saturday 1st October, when 34 bands and artists played live across 3 stages at Timepiece Bar, Courtyard and Old Timers Bar in Exeter.

Exeter is just one of many town and cities all over the UK taking part in Oxjam music festivals this October.

Beyond the Barricade has been touring throughout the UK and Europe for more than a decade bringing the greatest songs in musical theatre to the whole country. The show visits Exeter Corn Exchange on Sunday 23 October.

Exeter's Picturehouse Cinema refurbishment now complete

The repainting and refurbishment of the outside of the Exeter Picturehouse, to coincide with the cinema’s 20th anniversary this October, is now complete.

The final touches were applied this week, including the addition of specially designed huge screen prints of some of the most iconic films of the last 20 years as chosen by staff and regulars, including Amelie, Buena Vista Social Club and The Motorcycle Diaries.
