The RHS Rosemoor Garden Festival launches 21-23 August 2026

RHS Garden Rosemoor’s annual Flower Show this year has been re-imagined as a three-day celebration of gardening, plants and outdoor living – the RHS Rosemoor Garden Festival takes place from Friday 21 – Sunday 23 August 2026.

With headline appearances from nationally recognised gardening personalities, gardeners of all skill levels can listen to spotlight talks, get expert gardening advice, watch practical demonstrations, enjoy guided garden tours and browse and buy specialist plants and accessories.

CLIC for Christmas 2016 - final lineup revealed

Schools from Barnstaple and Plymouth have won a chance to perform in a major fundraising concert in Exeter Cathedral. The Park Community School and Devonport High School emerged victorious from the Devon Schools Choir Competition, run by La La Choirs at Southernhay URC on October 6. The schools will now perform in Exeter’s historic cathedral on Friday, December 9th, as part of the CLIC for Christmas concert to raise money for CLIC Sargent. The exetreme imagination festival of writing and stories has started with an outdoor extravaganza, creative workshops and performances around Exeter.

Events so far have included:

Uncle Tacko’s Imaginarium and Isabella’s Story Cycle entertained young audiences outside Exeter Library with stories, magic and a flea circus.

exetreme imagination in Dawlish

Students at Dawlish Community College took part in a workshop as part of exetreme imagination, Exeter’s festival of writing and stories.

Spaces to be Yourself focused on the themes and characters found in Meg Rosoff’s young adult novel How I Live Now. Participants were encouraged to explore how protagonist Daisy’s life is changed when she is forced to live in an environment which is totally alien to her, and to reflect on how spaces, both familiar and unfamiliar, affect their own experiences and emotions.
