Rarely seen portraits of influential Devon women, including Nancy Astor, Eleanor Acland and Gertrude Acland, are on show at Killerton. The portraits are visiting as part of a touring exhibition, ‘Faces of Change: Votes for Women’, a partnership between the National Trust and the National Portrait Gallery. The dance music phenomenon that is Eat Static is back in Exeter on 7th September after several years with a gig at Move, down on The Quay. There'll be an eclectic mix of psy trance, techno and other musical wizardry. Here's to there being a recreation of the magic at the sold out gig last October in Totnes ! Doors open at 10pm with the night going on until 3am. Supporting DJs are Anton (Acid Drop) and Luke (Psycartel) of the Neurotrition collective based in Torbay.
