Celebrating 100 Years of Morecambe and Wise: Eric and Ern Comes to Exeter

Eric and Ern, the new show from Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephens - the Olivier nominated duo behind the hugely celebrated and critically acclaimed West End hit Eric & Little Ern - will be coming to Exeter Northcott Theatre from Wednesday 16 to Sunday 20 December, as the culmination of an extensive Autumn/Winter UK tour.

The show’s 2026 national tour is a mark of celebration for the 100th birthdays of Eric Morecambe (born 14 May 1926) and Ernie Wise (born 17 November 1925) and their legendary comedy partnership.

A unique collection of original artwork, books, music, theatre memorabilia and artefacts will again be made available to the public to peruse this autumn. A new exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team Tavistock section has opened at the National Park Visitor Centre, Princetown.
