West Exe School , part of the Ted Wragg Trust , celebrated Shakespeare’s birthday this week.

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon , England, in April 1564. The exact date of his birth is not recorded, but it is most often celebrated around the world on the 23rd of April. Shakespeare also died on 23 April; in 1616, when he was 52 years of age.

The Maynard School has triumphed again with today’s GCSE Performance Tables, published by the Department for Education, putting the all-girls’ school in Exeter as the undisputed top performing independent school in Devon on every measure.

First UK radiography degree apprenticeship launched in Exeter

The first degree apprenticeship in the UK for diagnostic radiography has been approved and will launch this March.

The University of Exeter has created the work-based learning programme, which will help increase the number of diagnostic radiographers utilising this innovative new model.
