An Exeter woman who had a stroke aged just 29 has turned to comedy to help rebuild her life and confidence.

Molly Kinsey’s act focusses on the chaos of being a mum to her young son, and audiences are stunned when she reveals that she is a stroke survivor. Taylor Wimpey Exeter has helped to feed and house vulnerable people across Devon this Christmas by pledging £3,000 worth of support to three county charities.

The fundraising target for Rusty Pig’s ‘Ho Ho Hospiscare’ draw was totally smashed after the local community in Ottery St Mary and surrounding villages showed support for the event.

The initial aim was to raise £500 but by the night of the draw the total had reached £2300. Tesco stores donate much-needed food for Exeter families this Christmas

Exeter’s Tesco stores have joined a city-wide effort to contribute food and gifts to children and families in critical need of support this festive season.

Topsham based Darts Farm is working with Exeter Foodbank and seven-year-old schoolgirl Sienna Littley to provide 70 ‘Christmas Feast Boxes’ to families that need it most in the local community this festive season. Dame Helen Mirren is urging residents in the South West to help raise money for homeless and vulnerable people in an appeal launched by Just Eat and Social Bite. Exeter firm raises £1000 for Force Charity with desk cycle challenge

Devon digital advertising agency, Launch Online, has raised £1000 for the FORCE Cancer Charity Autumn Bike Ride initiative after the team cycled over 245 miles from underneath their desks during November.

With the help of a fleet of mini pedal exercisers, which fit underneath the desk, the team generated over 389,466 revolutions on their desk bikes over the four weeks of lockdown while they worked.
