Thompson Jenner Financial Services welcomes trainee advisor to the team
As part of the firm’s expansion plans to meet the demands of a growing client base, Thompson Jenner Financial Services, sister company to chartered accountants Thompson Jenner LLP, have appointed a new trainee advisor to work at the firms Exeter and Exmouth offices.
Having worked in the insurance sector for 11 years, most recently as a protection advisor, Laura Hinton has already gained considerable experience in building client relationships in a financial services environment and has achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance giving her a sound platform for her new role.
In her new position Laura will initially work with Thompson Jenner’s current advisers who will train her on the firm’s strict FCA regulatory procedures, understanding the firm’s client base, the financial products offered and other specific business development activities. She will also be undertaking various administrative duties to support the team whilst undertaking the rigorous training to become a fully qualified Financial Advisor.
Laura will be working towards becoming a fully qualified advisor over the next 12 months. She has already passed the Pensions and Retirement Planning and Financial Protection aspects of the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and will be taking her next exam in December reaching her final exams and full qualification in the Autumn of 2020.
