Since January this year, InExeter has hosted 10 training courses for city centre businesses, with over 32 different businesses involved courses including Emergency First Aid, Food Catering, Customer Service and Social Media Training have been held to help support InExeter businesses.

Debbie Allen from Speccies on South Street spoke highly of the Emergency First Aid at Work course saying, “It’s so crucial for us to be able to provide courses such as these for our staff members. As a small business, training can be costly, so we are grateful that InExeter has provided the events for us free of charge.”

Training courses are offered on a rolling basis and bespoke options discussed with larger businesses such as hotel and offices.  Courses are accredited and run through local venues.  Businesses also have the opportunity to suggest topics and courses relevant to their business.

Ann Hunter, InExeter Manager, said, “It has been great to be able to offer training to our business members. These courses offer businesses the opportunity to enhance employee’s skills and training in a local environment. They are also a great chance for businesses to chat and network.”
