Exeter Chamber appoints Wollens Partner, Charlotte McGregor as its new vice chair

Exeter Chamber has appointed Charlotte McGregor as its new vice chair. Charlotte, Partner of Wollens Solicitors has served as a board director of Exeter Chamber since November 2021 and joins Tim Wadsworth of Bespa Ltd in the joint role.

The Exeter Chamber board is made up of 13 professionals representing key industries including retail, hospitality, health, education, finance, media, legal, transport, manufacturing, skills, recruitment, property and science and technology. Each board director is an ambitious leader in their field, and collectively work together to achieve a thriving economy for Exeter.

The new vice chair brings with her a wealth of experience in the legal sector and has been a fundamental part of the business community in Exeter for almost 20 years. Charlotte heads up the Exeter office and is a Partner in the Private Client department.

As Partner, Charlotte has acted for individuals who have shaped Exeter into the thriving community it is for the entirety of her legal career. Charlotte, formerly a Partner at Morgan & Pope Solicitors successfully merged with Wollens in 2018. The firm now serves clients across Devon from their three hub offices located in Exeter, South Devon and North Devon.

Charlotte McGregor comments on her new appointment as vice chair of Exeter Chamber: “It is an immense privilege to serve on the board of directors as vice chair. Having sat as a Chamber board director for a year already, I feel well placed to support the chair, Steve Gates and chief executive officer, Richard Marsh, alongside my co-vice chair, Tim Wadsworth, with ambitious plans afoot.”
