A local digital marketing agency has hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning, raising £200.95 for the cancer charity.

On Friday 29th September, MiHi Digital opened their doors at their HQ on the Devon / Cornwall border to welcome everyone for tea, coffee and a slice of cake.

The event was held as a part of The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, Macmillan’s largest annual fundraising event for those facing and fighting cancer. Each year they ask people from all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings, with donations on the day being made to Macmillan. Since its inception in 1990, their Coffee Mornings have raised over £165.5 million.

Mark Worden, Managing Director at MiHi Digital said: “It’s great to be able to give something back and raise money for a truly worthy cause.  We thank everyone that attended for their kind donations.”

Macmillan’s Chief Executive, Ciarán Devane said: ‘Every penny raised at a coffee morning will help fund more services for people affected by cancer. Your involvement - no matter how small - means there will be enough practical, medical, financial and emotional support to help to change the lives of everyone affected by cancer for the better. And for that, we think you should feel good!’

Mark added ‘We look forward to doing it all again next year and hope to beat our total!’
