The dash group appoints group commercial manager

South West-based logistics, vehicle and retail services provider, The Dash Group, has appointed Brian Fisher as Group Commercial Manager.

Brian brings over 25 years of experience as a senior commercial sales leader across multiple industries, working with organisations such as BT, Yell, Wildanet, LocaliQ, Airband and Numatic International to name a few.

In his new role, Brian will take the lead in managing The Dash Group’s Sales and Customer Service teams. This hire is particularly key to the family-run company’s new pallet business under its logistics arm, Dash Logistix (formerly Dash Express). The company joined the Palletways UK network earlier this year and recruited 15 new staff to support the expansion.

Brian commented: “I'm thrilled to be joining the team at such an exciting time. The logistics sector is evolving rapidly, and there is a tremendous opportunity to strengthen our commercial offering while continuing to deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.

The Dash Group operates distribution hubs in Exeter, Redruth and Plymouth, delivering a broad portfolio of wholesale and logistics solutions such as parcel distribution, warehousing, e-commerce support and order fulfilment.

In February of this year, Dash Express joined Palletways UK as a network member, operating from its facility at Hill Barton Business Park in Exeter. This collaboration strengthens Palletways’ palletised freight services across the South West while enabling Dash Logistix to extend its service coverage further into the northern parts of the region.
