Valuables stolen from car in East Devon

Police officers from Ottery St Mary are reminding people to take their personal items with them after a parked car was broken into and valuables stolen.

The theft took place just before 3pm and 4.30pm on Thursday 13 August at White Cross Cark Park, East Hill, Ottery St Mary.

A blue Nissan X-Trail had the window smashed and personal items worth over a thousand pounds was stolen.

Amongst the items stolen was a pink iPhone 5, a black Mulberry wallet, Pierre Cardin glasses, a large blue leather handbag, cash and credit cards.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at the time, or may have been offered the items for sale to get in touch.
