Fore Street ushers in a new era of creative collaboration today with the official launch of dedicated design and marketing hub, Studio 17.

The brainchild of Colourburn and Illicit Web Design founders Damo Cross and Jake Hitchcock, Studio 17 will be a place where creative minds come together to work on innovative projects in a collaborative way, offering clients bespoke film, marketing and web design packages under one roof.

Celebrating the opening, Illicit director Jake Hitchcock said: "We are passionate about people and envisage Studio 17 becoming a beacon for creativity by building a reputation for talent in this part of the city. We also hope to encourage people back to support the independent businesses of McCoy’s Arcade and Fore Street.”

Adding to the Studio 17 line up is Broadside Screenprinters: a contemporary independent screen printer specialising in printed garments using only eco-friendly ink. It is anticipated that their presence alongside Colourburn and Illicit will be the first of many exciting associations to come out of the hub.
