Appeal after serious collision in Exeter

Police are appealing to the public following a serious collision that has left a man and a woman with serious injuries.

At approximately 4.31pm on Tuesday 29 November, two vehicles, a silver Microcar Dynamic SEI and a Toyota Hilux, were involved in a collision on the A30 junction A3015, Honiton Road, Exeter.

As a result of the incident, a 69-year-old woman and an 83-year-old man were taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital before being transferred to Derriford Hospital.

The road was closed for a period of time to facilitate the extrication of casualties and for scene preservation pending updates on the conditions of the casualties involved.
