Staff from a leading South West law firm have complied a list of their favourite family days out for under £10 in Devon. Families who visit all six will receive a cute and cuddly teddy bear, aptly named Tamar.

The Summer Passport is part of local law firm Stephens Scown LLP’s Love Where You Live campaign which showcases and celebrates the best things about living in the South West.

The Devon attractions and activities on the Summer Passport are: Orange Elephant Icecream, letterboxing on Haytor, Woolacombe beach, Haldon Forest, House of Marbles and the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter.

Andrea Harkin, Senior Manager for House of Marbles said: “We are delighted to take part in the summer passport scheme.  It is great that a local company is encouraging and supporting families to explore their surrounding area. We have a lot to offer in the South West but something we are all guilty of is not taking the time to enjoy it or try somewhere new.  When you live here after a while some shops, restaurants or attractions can be overlooked and by taking part in this scheme we look forward to meeting new visitors or perhaps customers that haven’t been to us for a while.”

Stephens Scown’s managing partner Robert Camp explains: “Our staff are brimming with ideas about the great things to see and do right here on our doorstep. The summer holidays can be an expensive time for families, so we wanted to share our suggestions for free and low cost days out in Devon and Cornwall.

“Our Love Where You Live campaign is one way we can demonstrate our commitment to the South West. We are proud of our local heritage and the support we can offer to local businesses and individuals.”

The Summer Passport is available for download from Stephens Scown’s website (www.stephens-scown.co.uk/campaigns/summer-passport). If families collect stamps from each of the six attractions in either Devon or Cornwall they can exchange their completed passport for Tamar – a cute and cuddly Love Where You Live teddy bear.

Stephens Scown has over 290 staff, including more than 50 partners, across its offices in Exeter, Truro and St Austell. For more information visit www.stephens-scown.co.uk
