Bishop Fleming’s Exeter office set out on their quest to raise funds for Hospiscare.

A team of accountants from Bishop Fleming’s Exeter office are taking part in a cycle relay challenge to raise funds for local charity Hospiscare.

The 15 strong team will be starting from their office at Stratus House, in a four day relay that starts from the firm’s Truro office and finishes in the Worcester office.

More than 100 Bishop Fleming’s staff from all their offices are involved in the challenge and are raising funds for 7 local charities voted for by staff at each office.

The Bishop Fleming Exeter office’s charity is Hospiscare and Bishop Fleming’s partner Tim Borton said, “We have certainly set ourselves a big challenge, but we are very keen to raise as much as we can for Hospiscare and that will spur us on. People can donate at the Just Giving website by searching for Tour of BF.”

Katie Chantler, Hospiscare head of fundraising, said: “We are very pleased that Bishop Fleming Exeter has decided to choose us as its charity and will be extremely grateful for the funds that they raise. We wish the team the very best of luck with its challenge. The funds will help our nurses visit patients in their own homes and provide specialist treatment in our Exeter hospice.”

The ride takes place in the second week of September and up to that date staff will be trying to gather as many pledges of support as possible.
