Lawyers from the largest solely dedicated renewable energy team in the South West have gained technical qualifications to help them provide the very best advice to clients.

Seven of Stephens Scown LLP’s renewable energy team have gained the Galileo Master Certificate for the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency sector.

The Galileo Master Certificate (GMC) is internationally recognised and demonstrates an individual’s knowledge and experience in the renewable energy sector. The qualification is based upon technology, science and engineering.

Sonya Bedford, head of the renewable energy team at Stephens Scown, is one of the group who obtained the qualification. She said: “I’m really proud of the team for pushing themselves and keeping up to date with the latest developments and science in renewables through this qualification. It is another demonstration of our commitment to our clients. Ensuring we are up to date with the latest technical information as well as the legal issues means we can provide the very best advice to our clients.”
