Crediton agent voted best in SW for third year

2015 has been another fantastic year for Crediton based agents, Helmores, and now a national award sees them crowned Best Single Office Estate Agency in the South West at The Sunday Times Estate Agency of the Year Awards - for the third time.

Hosted by TV news reader Penny Smith and ex England rugby player/TV personality Matt Dawson, the glittering awards were held on Friday 4th December at the Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park London, where 700 leading agents from throughout the UK gathered to find out who has been judged to be the best of the best.

The awards ceremony was the culminating event of a rigorous and thorough judging process carried out by a panel of industry experts who assessed entry submissions before conducting an extensive review of the entrants. This included hundreds of telephone interviews and mystery shopping exercises, all overseen by the Property Ombudsman.

The awards are highly competitive and established as the most sought-after and difficult to win in estate agency. Over 5,000 entries were judged with only the very best of the best chosen as winners and announced live at the event.

Rob Stoyle, one of the partners of Helmores, commented; “I’m completely thrilled to have won the hat trick – to win gold for the Best Single Office 3 years in a row is an epic achievement and I’m still about 200 ft up in the air!”.  Phil Morgan, also one of the partners added; “We’ve worked tirelessly to improve all areas of the business during 2015, and to receive this award is such an accolade – especially given the high standard of competition this year”.  Phil adds “The whole team have worked incredibly hard and everyone is absolutely over the moon with the result!”

Following announcing Helmores as the South West winner, the judges report said; “The team should be congratulated on their exemplary mystery shopping responses for both telephone and email enquiries. One particular area that stood out is the focus on the team.  Customer service levels has resulted in increased instructions.  They’ve also brought in a land and planning department which has yielded some great investment opportunities.  Industry updates and professional training is sought from external resources and has resulted in a focused and motivated team. Cinematic quality videos are a staple of the particulars and have triggered real interest and excitement from customers”.
