Tony Hawks is well-known for his appearances on the Radio 4 shows ‘Just a Minute’ and ‘I’m sorry I haven’t got a clue’ among others. However, he is also a best-selling author, stand-up comedian, and now a film maker, producing the film versions of his own best-selling books ‘Round Ireland with a Fridge’ and ‘Playing the Moldovians at Tennis’.

In 2010, he toured with his ‘Random Fun’ show. Now he’s coming to Whimple on 6th July with ‘Fridges, Frolics & Films’, a 2-hour combination of storytelling, comedy and film clips. Tony will explain the fraught progression from ‘Comedian and Author’ to ‘Comedian, Author and filmmaker’. Tony is NOT a famous skateboard champion. That’s a different one.

As a warm-up to Tony, we have local comedy acoustic duo ‘Los No Boss’ playing their own unique and entertaining style of, er, acoustic comedy!
