Businesses across Devon are being invited to apply for a grant to help them reach new audiences.

Devon Delivers, the County Council programme which aims to encourage businesses to relocate to Devon, has launched its Business Promotion Grant to help companies promote their goods or services to national and international trade audiences.

Grants of up to £1,000 are being offered through a competitive bidding process.

The funding will support eligible businesses to cover direct exhibiting costs of attending trade shows or events between February and December this year....

Three of Exeter Cathedral’s stonemasons have been singled out for praise, with special commendations from the Worshipful Company of Masons as part of the Duke of Gloucester’s Award scheme.

Anna Steinmetzer, Matthew Hoskins and Owen Whitfield were given the honour for their work on the exterior of the chapel of St Edmund to the west of the Cathedral, which was completed last autumn. In the South West 44% of respondents agree there is a skills shortage.
