Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg has welcomed Government plans to invest millions in mental health provision at all accident and emergency departments. Prime Minister David Cameron will today promise to invest £247 million in the next five years to make sure that every emergency department has mental health support. Private sector ends 2015 on a positive note

The South West private sector economy ended 2015 on a positive note, according to December PMI® survey data. Output growth accelerated from November’s subdued pace to the strongest since July, while new business rose at the fastest rate since June.

East Devon District Council Leader Paul Diviani has led the tributes to Honorary Alderman Barry Willoughby who died recently.

Mr Willoughby was elected to the District Council in May 1984 and represented Exmouth Littleham Urban Ward.
