Leading local advice charity, Citizens Advice Exeter, today releases the results from its second economic well-being survey. The first survey ran in September.

A summary of the results of the survey, run in partnership with the Express and Echo, Radio Exe, Exeter City Council and Exeter Chamber of Commerce, will be published on the charity’s website, www.citizensadviceexeter.org.uk

Police are appealing for help to trace a burglar who broke into a Seaton home and left behind their own belongings - a distinctive woolly hat and a sandwich.

The offender got into the house through an insecure door sometime between 11pm on Good Friday and 8.30am on Saturday [27 March].

Once inside the offender stole a silver iPad Air and a pair of new Vans trainers from their box.

However the occupants were left puzzled after the offender left behind some of their own belongings - including a Tesco tortilla wrap sandwich still in its packaging.
