Network Plus Envolve opens Exeter Science Park office to support major water programme

Network Plus Envolve, a joint venture between Network Plus and Envolve Infrastructure , has established new offices at Exeter Science Park to support the delivery of a new framework with South West Water.

Approximately 15 engineers, project managers and technical specialists will be based at Envolve’s new offices within the George Parker Bidder Building - a net-zero carbon facility at Exeter Science Park. MORE than 390 IKEA co-workers in Exeter are set to receive a pay increase as part of the retailer’s £12 million investment to support its people through the cost-of-living crisis.

Co-workers at the Exeter store will further benefit as the retailer also introduces a broad range of support measures across the UK & Ireland.

More than 28 tonnes of carbon dioxide will be prevented from going into the atmosphere thanks to Devon County Council’s (DCC) eleven new electric vans.

It’s estimated that the vans, which were delivered last week, will each save 2.6 tonnes of carbon dioxide a year.

They are replacing diesel vans that had come to the end of their lives – they will now be sold at auction.

It’s all part of DCC's ambition to be carbon neutral by 2030 - between 2013 and 2020/2021 DCC’s carbon emissions fell by 53 per cent.
