Officers in Exmouth are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at a property on Cranford Avenue in Exmouth which happened between 4.30pm and 8pm on Friday 8 September 2017.

An offender gained access to the property through a ground floor bedroom window and stole a large amount of cash and jewellery.

Sterling adding up to £10,000 and $8,000 Hong Kong dollars was taken along with two Gucci wrist watches, a Rolex wrist watch, a Passport, gold and silver rings, a gold bracelet, a silver necklace, and a Jade hoop-shaped pendent.

Staff from Barratt Homes in Exeter have completed one of their most ambitious charity challenges – a skydive over the South Devon countryside.

Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) has announced more than £500,000 in funding for researchers at the University of Exeter Medical School to advance understanding of how dementia affects the brain.
