Queen’s Drive Space goes live!

Fun, sun, food and entertainment were the order of the day for Exmouth Seafront over the Bank Holiday Weekend as the Queen’s Drive Space officially went live.

Funds support therapy for young Harriet

The cost of funding one year’s specialist therapy for an 11-year-old with cerebral palsy has been met by a local housebuilder.

Persimmon Homes South West has made the donation to fund conductive therapy for Harriet Dunn from Exeter.

The £1,000 grant was made through its hugely successful Community Champions campaign.

Anna Dunn, Harriet’s mum, said: “Harriet has cerebral palsy and is partially sighted and has weekly conductive therapy sessions with her therapist Viktoria Pavlics.

Devon businessman Mark Sealey and Army veteran Alan Bustin-Mulkern have launched the boat that will carry them right the way through the world’s toughest rowing race – the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

With the aim of raising huge amounts for blood-delivery charity Devon Freewheelers Emergency Voluntary Service (EVS) – also known as the Blood Bikes – Alan and Mark launched their boat for the colossal challenge at the Royal Western Yacht Club in Plymouth.
