A trio of Directors have been promoted to Partner at Top 30 advisory firm, Bishop Fleming, as the firm continues to keep pace with the growing demand for its award-winning services.

The firm, which delivers accounting, tax, corporate restructuring and advisory services to businesses and not-for-profit organisations, and private wealth advice to individuals, has appointed Isobel Savage, Nathan Coughlin and John Talbot to the partnership in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the firm, together with their strong focus on delivering client service.

As a former Tax Director in their Exeter office, Isobel brings to the firm a strong commercial and broad technical background, having worked in corporate tax within one of the “Big Four” accountancy firms and a regional practice. She has wide-ranging experience of working with owner-managed businesses, helping tie personal aims in with corporate goals and planning, and also has many years’ experience at maximising R&D claims for clients.

Nathan Coughlan was previously Audit Director in their Plymouth office, specialising in the audits of companies as well as organisations in the not-for-profit sector, including education and social housing. He developed his strong technical skills in a Big Four audit practice, and works closely with clients to build a deep understanding of their business and help them find practical solutions to problems.

As a former Audit Director in their Bath office, John has nearly 20 years’ accounting and auditing experience. He is experienced in a wide range of commercial sectors, from technology and professional services to manufacturing and leisure and hospitality start-up businesses, and in not-for-profit organisations, including charities and Academies. John previously worked for a national practice in Bristol.

Bishop Fleming’s Managing Partner, Andrew Sandiford, in welcoming the trio to the partnership, said: I am delighted to announce these senior promotions, as Isobel, Nathan and John all have a great depth of technical expertise and experience within their sectors. Their elevation to partner is well deserved and fits in with the firm’s strategy of growing our key advisory services to clients.”

Andrew added: “This is an exciting time for the firm as we pursue a number of strategies for growth. These three new partners bring to the firm a passion for delivering fantastic client service, which will enhance our growing team.”

Bishop Fleming is ranked 26th in the Sunday Times Top 100 places to work, as well as being ranked as a Top 30 practice in the league table of accountancy firms in the UK.
