As the usual runners and riders position themselves for the final furlong, Exeter Chiefs have safely overcome their first seasonal hurdle by booking their place in the Aviva Premiership’s end of season play-offs.

On Grand National Day, Rob Baxter’s side notched up win number 12 of the campaign, but not before being given an almighty fright by basement battlers Bristol, who threatened to pull off a shock success in this entertaining local derby.

Thankfully, the Chiefs had too much in the tank for their near neighbours, sealing victory with a Thomas Waldrom double and further...

Dartmoor Rangers Ella Briens and Andrea Roberts are bringing the Dartmoor version of the successful global litter campaign #2 minute beach clean to the National Park again this year.

Bude resident, Martin Dorey, started #2 minute beach clean after becoming frustrated by the amount of litter on our beautiful south west beaches. His aim was to encourage visitors and locals to take pride in their surroundings, raise awareness of the litter problem and to be proactive in dealing with the detritus.

With just four rounds of the scheduled season remaining, the Chiefs welcome local rivals Bristol Rugby to Sandy Park tomorrow for a full-blooded derby encounter (3pm).

New Residence Nil Rate Band (RNRB) introduced

Since the Residence Nil Rate Band (RNRB) was announced in 2015 it has been the topic of much discussion.

The new band came into force on 6th April 2017 and now that it is finally here tomorrow, it is time to ask what this new tax break means for you.
