Motorcyclist dies following A380 crash

One man has died following a collision on the A38 on the outskirts of Exeter.

Police were called at around 6.35pm on Wednesday 30 August following the reports of a single vehicle collision on the A380 Telegraph Hill, Kennford.

The vehicle involved was a blue Honda motorcycle ridden by a 36-year-old man from the Exmouth area.

The rider was treated at the scene before being taken by Ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital where shortly after arrival he was pronounced deceased.

Teignbridge residents are invited to two home composting roadshows in Newton Abbot where they could be in with the chance of winning a luxury hamper!

The roadshows, run by Recycle Devon and supported by Teignbridge District Council, will give people the chance to buy a compost bin and get advice and tips about home composting. Over the last few weeks eight local fire stations in and around Exeter have received a donation of specially designed animal oxygen kits from a local Insurance office.

Kay Transport helps Europe’s largest pallet network hit new 5.4 million highs

Local transport company Kay Transport helped to move a record breaking 5.4 million pallets around the Palletways UK network in the biggest year for Europe’s largest and fastest-growing palletised express freight network since its launch in 1994. An Exmouth man who overcame autism and dyslexia to pass three maths exams which helped turn his life around, has been recognised by Learn Devon, Devon County Council’s Adult Education Service.
