One of Devon’s most prestigious brands has become an Ambassador for the Devon Delivers programme.

Dartington Crystal is preparing to mark its 50th anniversary next year and, in the lead up to its celebrations, it has given its backing to Devon County Council’s inward investment initiative.

Work on the latest phase of a link road between the Exeter and East Devon Growth Point and the city, is underway.

Devon County Council’s £2 million scheme, which is being funded by developer contributions, will form the next stage of the Tithebarn Link Road.

A man has been jailed following a fatal coach crash in Looe in 2014 that left two passengers dead and a number of others injured.

Martin Chun, aged 60 from Whitestone, Devon has today been found guilty of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, and four counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving at Truro Crown Court (Monday 22nd August).
