Marin’s family has made the following tribute:

"Marin attended Bradford Primary School, Holsworthy Community College, and went on to complete her studies at St Petrock College. At Holsworthy she became an accomplished and effortless swimmer.

"She won an apprenticeship with TUI Travel Group, joining them as an Activities Instructor. She served at a range of venues from The Solent to Leicester where summer-school students from other countries learning English enjoyed after-hours swimming, fencing, archery, and other activities under her supervision.

"She worked for a season at a ski-resort in Chamonix, returning with a love of crepes!

"Deciding that distant locations took her far from friends, she had settled in Okehampton, and travelled each day from there to her current job in Exeter. However she still dreamt of world travel, and of joining her cousins in New York.

"Marin grew up on a farm and was equally at ease in her wellington boots and scruffy farm coat as she was in her designer trainers, make-up, and glamorous clothes. Marin was equally enthusiastic gathering a flock of sheep as she was rounding-up a group of friends for a night-out.

"All of her family are heartbroken and she will be sadly missed by her Mum, Dad, brother Kaspar and by her many friends."
