Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) has strengthened its Exeter team with the appointment of Richard Wright as Financial Planning Director. In this role, Richard will lead IW&I’s financial planning offering in the Exeter office. He will report to Chris Aitken, the firm’s UK Head of Financial Planning.

RGB Building Supplies has selected Exeter Phoenix as a finalist in its Well Built Community Fund and it’s now down to a public vote to see if it’s chosen to receive £1,000 worth of building materials.

The arts centre is a multi-art form venue providing the community with access to contemporary visual arts, digital, film music and theatre. A South West law firm has recently provided pro-bono legal advice to a Devon-based suicide prevention CIC, to help tackle the crisis across Devon, the South West and further afield.

Businesses in Devon have the opportunity to apply for Devon County Council’s Business Promotion Grant this month.

Grants of up to £1,500 are available through the scheme which aims to help companies who are looking to promote their products and services to wider audiences.

The funding, which is offered through a competitive bidding process, is to help local firms cover their exhibiting costs at high profile UK trade shows and events. Applications need to be submitted by noon on Monday 20 May 2019.
