On Saturday 1st October, Exeter’s 4th Oxjam music festival will be buzzing through the walls of Timepiece Bar, Timepiece Courtyard and Old Timers Bar.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Oxfam’s national music festival, Oxjam, and the team of eager volunteers are already working as hard as ever to make Exeter’s Takeover the best yet!

Exeter man killed in crash named

Police investigating a fatal road traffic collision near Ottery St Mary are trying to trace the deceased man's next of kin.

Following formal identification, the man has been named as Robert Christopher Trott, 53, from Exeter.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out to locate Robert’s next of kin but so far have been unsuccessful.

Officers believe Robert has a brother in the Exeter or Plymouth area and are appealing for him or any other family members to get in touch.

Youth Club celebrates Queen's Birthday Award

Dunkeswell Parish Council been presented with a Queen's Birthday Youth Award from East Devon District Council in recognition of the support they have given to Dunkeswell Youth Club - In particular 'The Big Show' was supported by the council and through the hard work of Anne Barratt and her team the Youth of Dunkeswell put on a showcase of their talents.

Appeal after safe stolen in Dawlish burglary

A small safe has been stolen from St Mary’s Cottages, Exeter Street in Dawlish.

The burglary took place between 10am and 6pm on Thursday 9th June.

The burglar entered the property through a front groundfloor window, stealing the safe from inside.

The safe is a black ‘Sentry’ fireproof model, about the size of a home printer with a handle and a key lock on the front.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, and ask the public to be aware than the safe and its contents may have been dumped.

10,000 orders in three years for Devon printers

When Crediton-based Hedgerow Print installed a new order processing system back in 2013, they never imagined that barely three years later they would be processing the 10,000th order to go through that system.
