Girlguiding South West England have teamed up with Dartmoor Zoological Society to provide its members with a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a sleepover at Dartmoor Zoo. Over 500 girls, ranging from 7-year-old Brownies through to Guides, Rangers and Young Leaders are due to sleep over at the zoo across dates in May, June and October. A further 270 girls, from the youngest 4-year-old Rainbows, through to Young Leaders and their Unit Leaders are coming for the day. The first two sleepovers will happen between 30 May and 1 June 2023.

Paul Colsell, a local artist, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to create a mural in the heart of Exeter. Known as the Exeter Kindness Mural it will feature the work of celebrated artist and author, Charley Mackesy. A key objective of the project is to celebrate kindness in the city. The mural is to be painted this Summer on the Crossline building in Heavitree Road, clearly visible from St Sidwell's Point Leisure Centre.
