The iconic Oktoberfest is returning to Exeter this October!

The official Oktoberfest Exeter will be hosted at Exeter Castle on Friday the 20th and Saturday the 21st of October 2023.

Oktoberfest offers an incredible selection of traditional German Bier that can be served in up to 2 pint steins, that customers can choose to take home. There will be amazing German food including bratwurst and pretzels, plus a range of other drinks including cider, prosecco, spirits and wine.

Aldi is recruiting new colleagues in Devon as a result of its continued expansion in the area.

In a welcome boost to the local economy, the UK’s fastest growing supermarket is currently recruiting for at least 40 Store Assistants, ranging from 10 - 30 hours per week.

Aldi is looking to hire for these roles at three stores in the area: Forde Close Store in Newton Abbot, Brixham Road Store in Paignton and the new Kerswell Gardens Store in Torquay, due to open later this year.

Grants totalling £0.8m have been awarded to small businesses and community projects across the county to help them bounce back after Covid-19.

International Dawn Chorus Day takes place on Sunday 7 May 2023 and the RSPB is inviting you to wrap your ears around nature’s finest musical experience.

Wherever you live, this amazing festival of bird song (known as the Dawn Chorus) happens on your doorstep.

Churches across the UK are being urged to take steps to prevent metal theft following a spate of incidents.
