Bird ringing demonstration by Axe Estuary Ringing Group An exciting chance to see wild birds up close as they are ringed to allow us to obtain important data about them.

Join the Axe Vale and District Conservation Society and the Seaton Wetlands over 55s Outdoors Club at this session.

Please note, this event is dependent on suitable conditions and weather. Sometimes the event is unavoidably cancelled at the last minute.

Whatever your experience come along and improve your bird identification skills Join an experienced volunteer guide for an informal drop-in session to help improve your bird identification skills and get the most out of your visit to Seaton Wetlands.

All are welcome to come and enjoy time spent birdwatching, whatever your level of knowledge.

Hide TBC, follow signs on the day.

Telescopes and binoculars are available for use in the hide free of charge during the session.

Learn about the birds at Seaton Wetlands Come and learn about the different species of birds found at Seaton Wetlands with an experienced volunteer guide.

If you're lucky you may spot the resident kingfisher catching fish in the estuary.

This event is perfect for school aged children.

See if you can complete your bird spotting sheets using our binoculars.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, but adult spaces do not need to be booked.

Stagecoach South West has been announced as the official Travel Partner for Exeter’s Christmas lights switch-on on Sunday 18 November.

More than 15,000 people attended last year’s switch on, with similar numbers expected for this year’s event, which marks the traditional start of the Christmas shopping period and late night shopping, which this year kicks off on Thursday November 22.
