Two award-winning holiday parks owned by the same Devon family have been awarded the highest accolade achievable in the tourism industry.
Ladram Bay Holiday Park and sister park Castle Brake have both been awarded five Gold Stars each through the VisitEngland National Quality Assessment Scheme.

Staff from South Western Ambulance Service (SWASFT) have raised more than £2,000 for local charities from a sponsored cycle and walk along the Granite Way.
The event took place on 16 May 2015 with many ambulance staff and their friends and family cycling and walking from Okehampton to Bridestowe, along the Granite Way. The event was in aid of the Devon Ambulance Staff Benevolent Fund (DASBF) and FORCE Cancer Charity.

A man who was caught driving dangerously near Exeter has been jailed.
Jonathan Bumford, 25, from Paignton, was sentenced to three months in prison at Exeter Crown Court on Friday (7 August), having pleaded guilty to dangerous driving.
