It’s beginning to look like… another amazing Love Topsham Christmas

Volunteers in the east Devon town of Topsham are dusting off the decorations ahead of a spectacular programme of Christmas events ranging from lights and stilt-walking entertainers to a unique market featuring dozens of artisan stalls.

The programme begins on Friday November 25 with three major events in the town.

The first is The Big Switch On , a half hour of entertainment between 4.30pm and 5pm at the town’s Matthews Hall - there will be festive food, music, a Town Crier in full illuminated regalia and spectacular stilt-walkers ahead of the lights countdown.

Devon’s Work Hub network is continuing to grow across the county with the addition of three more hubs. Axminster, Ivybridge and Totnes are the latest to join the network, which now has a total of 22 flexible coworking spaces. The unique aspects of each of these three Hubs reflect emerging trends in the coworking world, providing niche offerings and a heightened focus on community. Lympstone Manor opens the Pool House Restaurant & Bar to non-members

This October welcomes the arrival of a brand new winter dining offer at Michael Caines’ renowned country house hotel, Lympstone Manor.

Available only in the Pool House, non-members and non-resident guests will be able to enjoy a two or three-course lunch overlooking the 11-acre vineyard and the hotel’s outdoor pool with views of the Exe Estuary beyond.

Since opening earlier this year, this is the first time local guests will be able to experience the relaxed ambience of the Pool House with the menu available from Wednesday to Sunday until March 2023.

Police appeal for witnesses after sexual assaults in Exeter and Topsham

Police investigating reports of rape on Monday 17 October in Exeter and Topsham are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
