The Family Law Company appoints additional Shareholder

The Family Law Company has announced the appointment of experienced family law Solicitor Imran Khodabocus to Shareholder.

His appointment brings the number of Shareholders to ten, contributing to the firm’s succession planning strategy.

Khodabocus joined the specialist law firm in 2016. He now heads up the Domestic Abuse team, specialising in children and domestic abuse matters which are complex and sensitive. He also acts for children and grandparents in care proceedings.

The announcement recently that Santander are to reduce their in-branch advisers from 874 to 150 nationally follows the trend by the other banks including Lloyds TSB, HSBC, RBS and Barclays in eliminating or hugely reducing the number of advisers they have.

Haberdashery sales buzzing at John Lewis

Since the BBC's new sewing programme, The Great British Sewing Bee aired, John Lewis Exeter has seen a surge in purchases of haberdashery products, with sales looking set to rise further over the coming weeks.

Following the programme's launch the haberdashery department in Exeter saw a 36% increase on the week before including a 55% increase in sales of sewing machines.
