The Family Law Company appoints additional Shareholder

The Family Law Company has announced the appointment of experienced family law Solicitor Imran Khodabocus to Shareholder.

His appointment brings the number of Shareholders to ten, contributing to the firm’s succession planning strategy.

Khodabocus joined the specialist law firm in 2016. He now heads up the Domestic Abuse team, specialising in children and domestic abuse matters which are complex and sensitive. He also acts for children and grandparents in care proceedings.

Leading Devon-based stove manufacturer, Dean Forge, is launching a new showroom in Exeter, with an open day on Saturday 12 September.

Customers will be able to take advantage of a fantastic one-off promotion of up to 50% off selected stoves and huge savings on leading brands, including Dean Forge’s own range. Exeter BID Board is pleased to announce that an Area 5 representative has been appointed following a ballot among members in the area.

Ray Frame, Store Manager of Wilko will represent the Guildhall and Lower High Street, which has been named Area 5 of the Exeter BID area.

Stagecoach has confirmed the network of services it will be running from 6th September 2015, following its takeover of the Plymouth & South Devon operations of First Devon & Cornwall from the same date.

The network will see new route numbers for some services, as well as delivering a number of benefits to passengers including:

Circa 1924, a new restaurant located just off Exeter High Street at 6 Northernhay Place, is set to take the city’s culinary scene by storm with its 1920s-inspired steak and seafood house and ‘moonshiner’ speakeasy cocktail bar.

Formerly Harry’s Grill Bar, Circa 1924 is owned by two local lads, Rob Weeks and James Waddington, who searched for months for premises that would allow them to combine their love of food and drink in a building with a vintage twist.

Over 90 business leaders from across the city attended the July Chamber lunch with guest speaker, Ben Bradshaw.

The event that was held at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum saw Ben give delegates an update on his Deputy Leader campaign as well as covering topical subjects such as better broadband for Exeter, city wide congestion and renewable energy.

Demand from business for commercial property in the South West rose for the eleventh consecutive quarter, while available space in the region fell for the ninth successive period, according to the latest RICS Commercial Market Survey.
