Two years before Woodstock, on the weekend of 17th June 1967, 90,000 groovies, soul cats and of course hippies brought their idealistic messages of love ‘n peace to the County Fairgrounds Park in Monterey, California. Semi-clad (and fully-high) young sprites crammed into the Arena to witness one of the major cultural turning points of the 20th Century.

EXETER City supporters will have the opportunity to own a historic piece of their beloved club when work starts this summer on a new grandstand at St James Park.
Around £3.5million worth of improvements are scheduled at the ground over the coming year. At the centre of this work will be the demolition of the Old Grandstand, which is sponsored by Stagecoach, and is the oldest structure at the ground, dating back to 1926.
The football club is working with Exeter City Council, which owns the stand, to give fans the opportunity to buy seats before it is demolished.
It's now compulsory that your dog should be micro chipped.
Statistics (we like statistics) show that there are around 1.8 million dogs not chipped which makes them untraceable if they go missing. You just need to look on this site www.doglost.co.uk to see how common and frequent dogs do go missing.
As well as dogs going missing we also get the occasional dog that's been dumped, again having it legally chipped will help us ID the animal and owner.
As a dog owner myself i wanted to hold a free micro chipping event for anyone (City Wide and beyond) who hasn't already...

The romance of España Profunda is legend. This is where the world’s greatest lover, Don Juan, was dragged to hell by the dead father of the girl he seduced.
And the music. There is magic there, too.
The legend of Andalusia must now include Guadalupe Plata,...
