Exeter Ask a Muslim event a success

AROUND 50 guests attended a coffee morning at the Mint Methodist Church in Exeter on Saturday, November 16, to "Ask a Muslim" anything they wanted to about Islam and Muslims.

The event was organised by Inclusive Mosque Exeter in partnership with the Devon Faith and Belief Forum as one of the Inter Faith Week 2019 events in the city.

Mothers message of gratitude to the charity that’s supported her daughter

The mother of a 13-year-old girl from Exeter, has publicly thanked Caudwell Children, the national charity that provides practical and emotional support to disabled children and their families, after they funded a specialist sports wheelchair for her daughter.

Amelia Kwiecinska has spinal muscular atrophy, a condition that makes the muscles weaker and causes problems with movement.

Amelia cannot stand or walk and is a full-time wheelchair user. Her condition has affected her social life as it makes it difficult for her to mix with other children.

Data scientists, artificial intelligence experts and clinicians are among a range of professionals invited to join a new national network to find innovative ways of conducting dementia research and care.
