The Cafe at 36 in St Thomas Exeter supports local artists, providing a space for small art exhibitions, or individual paintings and photographs.

A trip to Theatre Alibi's Curiosity Shop is a mesmerising voyage of discovery

Leaving the Exeter Northcott with your mouth open after seeing a Theatre Alibi production is starting to become a regular occurrence. Curiosity Shop , which had its premiere tonight is the latest in a line of jaw-dropping productions by Exeter’s own Theatre Alibi.

A modern-day adaptation of the Dickens novel, the show blends photography, music, film and Theatre Alibi’s signature immersive performances and the end result is an utter triumph.

Directed by Nikki Sved, this is a very different style of performance from their last show here, The Crowstarver , which was quite...

Exeter Chiefs Colts Battle for Top Spot

Exeter Chiefs Colts V Brixham Colts

Exeter kept up their challenge for top spot in the Devon RFU Colts Shield competition hosting Brixham at Withycombe RFC. This season the boys have been rewarded with kit sponsorship from Astley Media, who have kindly provided warm up tops and playing shorts and socks.

They took to the pitch with pride in their new clothing. The ground staff at Withy had done a good job and the pitch was in great condition considering the atrocious weather we had after Christmas.

Brixham started well, trying to feed their forwards who were...

What are We Doing About Exeter’s Triple Crown Status?

It was exciting to hear that the great and the good ventured up to London recently to see the launch of Exeter’s Triple Crown status on Bill Boards and in Underground Stations, maximising Exeter’s profile to London businesses who may be contemplating doing business with the region or relocating to this beautiful area of ours. BUT, what about the businesses based in Exeter that would also like to shout about Exeter’s buoyant, trend bucking successes; something all of us based in Exeter are part of?

A little while back we raised the idea of a Triple Crown logo to be developed for...

1909 In accordance with a declaration by the Socialist Party of America, the...
