Police need help in identifying witness to Tiverton fire

Update 5pm: As a result of the earlier appeal, a potential witness has been identified and has spoken to the Police.

Earlier today (25 July): Police are looking to identify a male cyclist (pictured) who is a witness to the house fire at Magnolia Court in Tiverton on Tuesday 23 July.

He cycled past the fire before emergency services arrived, possibly more than once. He may hold vital information.

A joint Police and Fire Service investigation has been launched following the fire which damaged four properties in Tiverton at around 4pm.

Hard work leads to improvements at Tiverton primary

Two years of hard work has led to considerable improvements at a Tiverton primary school, according to education inspectors.

Heavitree paddling pools to close on Thursday for essential maintenance

Exeter City Council has announced that Heavitree Paddling Pools will be closed for the day tomorrow (25 July) to allow for the water to be changed.

But fear not, as the pools should be back in action on Friday (26 July), ready for the busy summer period.
