Exeter University Gilbert and Sullivan Society return in their 46 year with the critically acclaimed and hilarious political satire, Iolanthe.
Iolanthe focuses on Strephon, a half mortal and half immortal shepherd. Strephon hides this mysterious secret from his love, Phyllis, who is adored not only by Strephon but by the entirety of the House of Lords including the Lord Chancellor himself. When Phyllis catches Strephon with his mother, Iolanthe, who on account of being immortal looks the same age as Strephon, chaos and confusion ensues.

Richard Alston is "a choreographer for whom every dance is a love affair with his chosen music" THE TIMES. This programme matches the shimmering beauty of Ravel with smouldering tango and the exhilaration of Benjamin Britten.
SHIMMER is danced to the sun-drenched music of Ravel played live. Julien Macdonald's fabulous, jewel-encrusted cobweb costumes illuminate dazzling streaks of limpid choreography in a ravishingly beautiful piece of theatre.
Young people in Exeter who are flying the nest are not getting very far - instead choosing to buy their first property just a few miles from home.
A survey conducted by One Poll, on behalf of leading housebuilder Barratt Homes, has revealed that almost 70% of first time buyers in Exeter under the age of 35 are likely to move within a 20 mile radius of their family home.
Female buyers are even keener to stay close, with 25% preferring to only move up to 10 miles away, compared to 32% of males who would consider moving up to 20 miles away.

From fig leaves to final judgement. Following the sell-out success of their 2013 UK Tour, it's apocalypse now as the three cultural guerrillas of The Reduced Shakespeare Company set their reductive sights on the good book with The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged).
Yes, it's an affectionate, irreverent roller coaster ride from fig leaves to Final Judgment as the bad boys of abridgement tackle the great theological questions: Did Adam and Eve have navels? Did Moses really look like Charlton Heston? And why isn't...

The competition involves each entrant presenting 4 espresso drinks, 4 cappuccinos and 4 espresso based beverages where the barista creates into a ‘signature’ drink. A combination of technical and sensory...
