Devonshire Motors has welcomed back former Workshop Controller Phil Wells as its new After Sales Manager.
The 33-year-old originally started in the Barnstaple-based Mitsubishi dealership in 2010. For family reasons, he moved to a BMW dealership 18 months ago but was wooed back earlier this month by Devonshire’s Dealer Principal, Nathan Tomlinson.
As After Sales Manager, Phil is responsible for what is arguably one of the busiest and most after sales-focused dealerships in the Mitsubishi network.
‘It feels very good to be back here,’ he said. ‘It’s nice to come back...

Dawlish Air Show committee has announced that next year’s Dawlish Air Show will take place on Saturday 22 August.
The decision has been taken to move the airshow away from the Bank Holiday weekend in 2015 for a number of reasons, one being that weekend occurs very late next year (the Bank Holiday is Monday 31 August) and it is also the weekend over which Dartmouth Regatta has been scheduled.
Dawlish Air Show will 'share' Saturday 22 August with Bournemouth Air Festival, an event it has coincided and shared display participants with previously, meaning that the tens of...
Responding to the results of the Scottish referendum, Councillor John Hart, the Leader of Devon County Council, said today: “I am really glad that the United Kingdom isn’t going to be broken up. But we now have to ensure that Devon and the South West doesn’t lose out because of the promises made by the Westminster parties to Scotland.
“Last week we were being urged to fly the Saltire. But I intend to keep on flying the flag for Devon.
“We in the South West already lose out to Scotland because of a funding agreement reached by the Labour Government in the 1970’s worth about...

It's comedy time as Broadclyst Theatre Group presents a wild romp of a show called Improbable Fiction by Alan Ayckbourn.
We all need cheering up in these gloomy times so come along to the Broadclyst VIctory Hall, settle down with a glass of wine or beer and enjoy!
Improbable Fiction is about a hapless group of wannabe writers who are considerably better at talking about their books than writing them.
The first half of the show is all about the characters they write about, the plots and the challenges each of them must overcome to get pen to connect with paper....
In honour of International Credit Union Day on Thursday 16 October 2014, the Archdeacon of Exeter is launching ‘Join a Devon Credit Union Month’ when he hopes Devon people will join up during October to keep their savings in Devon.
All three credit unions are keen to welcome new active members. As well as savers they need people with relevant skills to join up, get to know them and the way they work, and then volunteer their financial, website, or marketing skills.
"‘I am very pleased to become a member of a Devon credit union," says Christopher Futcher Archdeacon of Exeter...
