The Exeter City FC Supporters’ Trust Forum is taking place on Thursday 19 February at 7pm in the Apple Taxi Suite at St James’ Park, Exeter.

This forum is open to all, members and non-members, so come along to hear a presentation by Simon Hayward, Youth Academy Manager, with an opportunity to ask your questions.

This will be followed by a break for refreshments and raffle

Our chairman Laurence Overend, and other trustees, will then take questions from the floor.

There will be no charge for the buffet, tea or coffee but we hope you'll buy some raffle...

Stagecoach thanks passengers for patience

Stagecoach South West has thanked bus passengers for their patience after bus services were heavily delayed yesterday following a series of accidents around the city which brought traffic to a standstill.

Traffic from Pinhoe was diverted along Hill Barton Road towards Middlemoor Roundabout, which quickly became gridlocked. Queues then formed towards Sandygate which was already busy following the closure of the M5. This meant that traffic along key arteries such as Heavitree Road and Topsham Road was already at a standstill by rush hour.

Debt woes in Exeter on the rise

Increasing numbers of people in the Exeter area are struggling with debt and are only just able to meet their living costs, according to new figures released today by StepChange Debt Charity.

During 2014, the charity’s helpline was contacted by 1201 people from the Exeter postcode area, compared to 1123 in 2013, a rise of 7% year. Household budgets have shown slight signs of improvement, with those contacting the charity from the Exeter area an average of £35 better off than the previous year. Staff and volunteers are preparing for toddlers to take over the Knightshayes for its first ever Toddler Time on Thursday 12 February.

Between 11am and 3pm the National Trust property on the outskirts of Tiverton, is opening its doors to tiny explorers and their families. Each Toddler Time has a seasonal theme, with sensory activities for little ones to enjoy.
