To celebrate Exeter’s Host City status in the Rugby World Cup, Princesshay has invited eight local schools from across Exeter and surrounding villages to take part in its Rugby Team Scarecrow competition.
Each school has been designated a team which is playing at Sandy Park in the Rugby World Cup, plus England, South Africa and Wales. Pupils have been set a challenge to use that team’s colours to fashion a bright and colourful decorative scarecrow to represent their chosen team.

The 19-week course is funded by Learn Devon – Devon County Council’s adult education service – and delivered by Hair @ the Academy, a salon at the Exeter Deaf Academy that offers hair and beauty training to disengaged adults and young people.
