Alternatiba is a citizens festival that presents individual, collective, local and practical solutions to climate change and the energy crisis. Alternatiba’s goals are :
- Spread the message of climate emergency, raise awareness amongst the general public and elected politicians about the necessity to rapidly and radically cut our greenhouse gas emissions in the scope of the UN international negotiations in Paris this december (COP21).
- Fight the probable feeling of resignation, helplessness and therefore the demobilisation which could be triggered by the seriousness and importance of the climate challenge.

Alternatiba is network of 111 festivals across the world and Alternatiba Exeter will be the 2nd in the UK! The solutions will be presented with stalls, talks, debates, poets and concerts, local food and drinks, movies, a swap market and an alternative Christmas market.

It will take place on the 21st of November across the Exeter city centre (Southernhay church, St Steven church, Corn exchange and also outdoor events). Check out on our website to know more (www.alternatiba.eu/exeter).
