It’s back! Exeter’s highly successful Ladies Do Lunch re-launches next month with a glorious Christmas celebration.
The new look luncheon club is now being run by renowned after dinner speaker Sally Sedgman who previously hosted Ladies Do lunches at the Royal Clarence Hotel on Cathedral Green.

On Saturday 21st November, 230 people attended the Alternatiba Festival, held in Exeter.
Over 30 different community groups and organisations came together to share stories and experiences of how we can live in a more sustainable way and enjoy being part of a rich and diverse community.
Gillian Baker from the community group Transition Exeter, said: “It was so empowering to see groups with common interests who have never met before coming together in such a joyful environment and sharing their enthusiasm for positive change.”
A local Samaritans branch is linking with another charity to provide free support sessions for people who have lost a friend, relative or colleague to suicide.
The Exeter, Mid & East Devon Samaritans and the Devon branch of Cruse Bereavement Care are jointly arranging the groups, each of which is open to up to eight people who can share their experiences and offer each other support.
The aim is to attract those bereaved three months or longer ago, who are then encouraged to attend sessions on six consecutive weeks in central Exeter.

Devon and Cornwall Police Pipes and Drums will be performing in Exeter City Centre on Saturday 28th November.
The band will be playing for Hospiscare's Christmas Fair and then doing a set outside Exeter Cathedral.
The band will be meeting in Mary Arches car park for a quick tune up and then heading up to The Guildhall where we're playing for Hospiscare first.
The Christmas Fair starts at 10.30am with our first session at 11am. We'll then be playing at various interval with our final performance for Hospiscare at 1pm.
Children from four East Devon primary schools today (Friday 20 November) had the chance to experience first-hand how their local district council is run.
The 40 pupils, aged 10 to 11 years, who visited East Devon District Council’s offices at Knowle in Sidmouth, were taking part in national Takeover Challenge Day, which aims to get children and young people involved with how public service decisions are made.
