Year 10 pupils at Exeter School took part in an improvisation workshop delivered by professional actress and Webber Douglas graduate, Lucy Curtin, last week.

The workshop proved an ideal preparation for a day of workshops organised by the Northcott theatre taking place on Friday 24 June.

Head of Drama Jamie Brough said the pupils have looked at elements of 'clowning' as well as improvisation games and techniques this term.

Make a Knotty Bracelet

As part of our schedule of special summer classes, we're offering a lovely session of knotty bracelet making! Perfect for gifting as friendship bracelets or keeping all to yourself.

We’ll be teaching one of our favourite designs, a bracelet made from knotting and beads and a button clasp. There will also be the chance to learn how to make an ever useful sliding knot fastening, as seen on our knotty bracelet kits. Riverford Master Veg Cooking Class Exeter

Join us at our Master Veg class to get to grips with the green stuff and find out about life with a veg box.

This is a two hour hands-on cooking course, followed by a meal where you'll will enjoy the food you have chopped and prepared. Exeter Community Centre announces exciting new project

Exeter Community Centre on St David’s Hill is proud to announce the launch of an exciting community project called Sense of Space, to create a new sensory garden at the centre and to bring its Pottery back into use.

A grant from The People’s Health Trust has enabled the project to go ahead.

The project will create opportunities for local people to meet and learn new skills together, at FREE workshops running from January 2016.

FabLab Devon, in association with FabLab Plymouth at Plymouth College of Art, is offering a range of free FabLab digital fabrication laboratory workshops to members of the public, in FabLab Devon, which is based at Exeter Library, beginning on Monday 30 November.

Exe-Arts community creativity workshops

Exe-Arts, the community arts initiative set up by Superact's Patsy Lang, has reached the halfway milestone after a busy two months of fun creative workshops for all ages in art forms ranging from environmental sculpture and photography to graffiti art and experimental drawing.
