As part of our schedule of special summer workshops, we're excited to host a beginner's session in patchwork! Paper piecing is a traditional patchwork technique that's all about hand sewing, precision and enjoying the process. We aim to take the fear out of the craft and give you the confidence to get started.

This is the kind of skill that can bring you hours and hours of sewing happiness. We’ll go through everything you need to know, from cutting out your shapes to hand sewing to how to piece them together, through to ideas of what to make with your piece once you’re finished with it. Imagine making a quilt made up of all your favourite, most special fabrics…dreamy.

The workshop is a one off session, running on Monday 6th June from 10.30am to 1pm. The class costs £25, which includes all of your materials and refreshments. We require a £10 deposit to book your place, which you can pay over the phone on 01392 437377 or pop in to the shop and see us.

Bunyip Beads is a crafty emporium on Fore Street in Exeter. We sell a big array of supplies for sewing and jewellery making, as well as hosting all sorts of workshops and parties!
